The analytical process starts only when the daily quality control results are accepted.
- Joining three international quality assurance programs, namely:
- Quality assurance program of the college of American pathologists (CAP) for Excellence in laboratory testing (EXCEL) (USA).
- RIQAS International Quality Assessment Scheme, including the general clinical chemistry and immunoassay programs (biweekly external quality control samples). RIQAS is approved and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Organization (UKAS).
In the above two programs, our laboratory results are compared to the results of internationally recognized participating laboratories all over the world.
- Certificate of the international standardization of Organization (ISO 9001) audited by the American System Registrar (ASR) (USA).
- Full Implementation of Bidirectional Bar Coding
Al Borg’s bidirectional bar coding system leaves no room for human error when placing patient samples in equipment or clerical errors when printing patient results.
